Una visione universalista della vita
Rita El Khayat è nata e cresciuta a Rabat, in Marocco, dove ha avuto l’opportunità di frequentare le scuole più qualificate, sino ad ottenere la laurea in medicina.
Si è anche distinta come prima speaker donna in Marocco e giornalista per radio, televisione e cinema.
Successivamente è ammessa ad un Internato in Psichiatria a Casablanca, ma trovando l’incarico e l’ambiente di lavoro poco stimolante, parte per Parigi dove si specializza in tre campi della Medicina: psichiatria, medicina del lavoro ed ergonomia della medicina spaziale.
Durante il suo soggiorno a Parigi, studia anche l’arabo classico presso la prestigiosa Scuola di Lingue Orientali e proprio in quel periodo inizia la sua attività letteraria che conta ad oggi ben trenta libri.
Recentemente le è stata assegnata la Cattedra di Antropologia della conoscenza e del sapere, dalla Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell’Università di Chieti, in Italia.
Rita El Khayat, alleva dell’inventore della etnopsichiatria Gorge Devereux, si definisce Artista con una visione universalista della vita: Una persona che vive, assorbe e poi riflette la vita attraverso i filtri imperfetti delle proprie esperienze.
A universal vision of the life
Rita was born and grew up in Rabat, Morocco, where, she had the opportunity to attend modern schools, culminating in her graduation from Medical School.
During her studies she was the fisrt woman speaker in Maroc, and she was also be active as a Radio, TV, and Cinema artist.
Subsequently, she was admitted as a Psychiatry student in Casablanca, but she found the entourage and the work not challenging, so she moved to Paris where she graduated in three fields of Medicine: Psychiatry, Medicine of Work & Ergonomics, and Spatial Medicine.
During her stay in Paris, she also studied Classical Arabic at the prestigious Ecole des Langues “Orientales” and in this period she started to write publishin 30 books untill today having.
Her next challenge is to assume the Professorship of Anthropology of the Knowledge that has been created for her at the Faculty of Philosophy of University of Chieti, Italy.
